Congratulations Dr Koch – Elected to SAOA Executive Committee
A very big congratulations to Dr Odette Koch! As she has been elected to the SAOA (South African Orthopaedic Association) executive Committee.
Dr Koch is one of the most experienced WALANT surgeons in South Africa. We are exceptionally proud of this career milestone that she has accomplished. She is currently the only woman serving on the committee, and therefore paving the way for future female surgeons.
Dr Koch is a very skilled and successful orthopaedic surgeon, who specializes in upper limb surgery. Her specialty and passion, however, lies in WALANT (Wide Awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquet) surgery. As stated, she is exceptionally experienced in this field. Dr Koch is constantly furthering her learning in the field of WALANT surgery.
As a result of this, we are happy to announce that an article that she had been apart of has been officially published in one of our local journals.
